The Future of Farming

Controlled Environment Agriculture

NOT Hydroponic Growing

Future Farms Agriculture (FFA) deploys the most efficient indoor farming methods to grow fruits and vegetables in an environmentally sustainable, farm to table manner, in locations that struggle with their supply chain and traditional farming methods.

NOT Hydroponic Growing

Controlled Environment Agriculture

NOT Hydroponic Growing

FFA uses "traditional soil farming" that has been automated for indoor controlled environment agriculture (“CEA”) growing. Consequently, our system is scalable, sustainable and can grow virtually any non-tree fruit or vegetable. Hydroponics is limited to leafy greens.

Unlike most indoor farming concepts, FFA  uses Automation to minimize labor costs by bringing the plants to the farm hands rather than sending the farm hands to the plants.Where appropriate, the system can utilize disabled veterans and others with disabilities to perform tasks.

Other Advantages

Future Farms Agriculture:

  • Overcomes constraints impacting on the production of fruits like disruptions caused by transportation bottlenecks, weather, insects, diseases.
  • Delivers “just in time” always fresh produce consistently year around.
  • Eliminates the carbon footprint of long-distance shipping, and farm field machinery.
  • Uses proven indoor vertical farming Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA) technology to reduce water consumption by up to 90%, maximize growing density and increase annual harvests/yield per acre.
  • Eliminates spoilage and the need for long term storage and ripening with gases in transit.
  • Uses nutrient rich soil that is "manufactured" on-site to maximize the nutritional value of the produce and eliminate the use of pesticides or GMO's.

Current Landscape

Currently, billions of dollars have been invested world-wide in new concepts to produce vegetables in the “lettuce” category.  Future Farms Agriculture offers vegetable production for the market that is not served by other vertical farm concepts.
